Experience with data cleaning, analysis, web scraping, APIs, and working with structured and unstructured datasets using Python, Pandas, and SQL.

Basic understanding of NLP, Generative AI, LLM workflows, sentiment analysis, and knowledge systems such as vector databases, retrieval systems, and knowledge graphs.

Interest in marketing analytics, customer insights, competitor research, and familiarity with tools like Shopify, Google Analytics, social media analytics, and campaign performance reporting.

Data Intelligence Intern / Trainee | Bengaluru (In-Office)

Decode Age is looking for a curious and detail-oriented Data Intelligence Intern/Trainee to support our AI, NLP, marketing intelligence, and business analytics initiatives. In this role, you will collect, clean, structure, and analyze data from diverse sources, helping transform raw information into reliable datasets that power AI systems and business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

Collect, clean, and organize data from websites, APIs, reports, CRM systems, and business platforms.
Support web scraping, market research, competitor analysis, and customer intelligence initiatives.
Prepare datasets for AI, NLP, analytics, and knowledge management workflows.
Structure unstructured content such as reviews, documents, social media data, images, audio, and videos into usable formats.
Assist in building knowledge bases, vector databases, retrieval systems, and business intelligence datasets.
Generate insights and reports to support AI, marketing, and business teams.

Key Requirements:

Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
Interest in AI, NLP, data analytics, and business intelligence.
Good Excel/Google Sheets skills; basic Python and SQL knowledge is a plus.
Ability to work with structured and unstructured data across multiple formats.
Strong research, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Eagerness to learn, take ownership, and work independently.
