
We’re hiring a performance-driven copywriter who can write copy that converts across both D2C channels (Meta, Google, Email) and Marketplaces (Amazon, Flipkart).
This role is about:
• Driving clicks (D2C)
• Driving conversions (Marketplace)
You will own hooks, scripts, product messaging, and listing optimisation — all tied directly to revenue impact.
· Write scroll-stopping hooks, headlines, and primary text
· Develop UGC-style video scripts (15–60 sec)
· Create multiple variations for:
o Angles
o Hooks
o Offers
· Align copy with TOF / MOF / BOF funnel stages
· Write and optimise:
o Product titles
o Bullet points
o Product descriptions
o A+ content (Amazon)
· Improve:
o Conversion rate (CVR)
o Keyword relevance & ranking
· Translate product features into clear, benefit-led copy
· Develop:
o Core product messaging
o Key angles (problem-solution, authority, UGC, comparison, etc.)
· Identify:
o Customer pain points
o Objections
o Buying triggers
· Ensure consistency across:
o Ads → Landing Page → Marketplace Listing
· Produce high-volume copy variations weekly
· Continuously iterate based on:
o Performance data
o Winning creatives
· Collaborate with:
o Designers
o Video editors
o Performance marketers
· Write / optimise:
o Landing pages
o Product pages (D2C site)
o Email & SMS campaigns
· Improve conversion and repeat purchase rates
· CTR (Click-Through Rate)
· Thumbstop Rate / Hook Rate
· Conversion Rate (CVR)
· CAC impact from creatives
· Creative Win Rate (% of scalable winners)
· Listing Conversion Rate (CVR)
· Keyword ranking improvements
· Session-to-purchase %
· Revenue per listing
· Reduction in bounce/drop-off
· Strong understanding of direct response copywriting
· Experience with D2C brands and/or Amazon/Flipkart listings
· Ability to write:
o High-converting hooks
o Short-form video scripts
o Product listing copy
· Understanding of:
o Customer psychology
o Purchase intent (ads vs marketplace)
· Can switch between:
o Attention-grabbing ad copy
o Conversion-focused listing copy
· Think in:
o Angles
o Hooks
o Testing frameworks
· Use data to improve copy, not guesswork
· Meta Ads Library
· Amazon Seller Central
· Helium 10 / Jungle Scout (or similar)
· Google Docs / Notion
· Analytics tools (Triple Whale, etc.)
· 20–50 hooks per week
· 5–15 ad script variations per week
· Regular optimisation of:
o Marketplace listings
o Landing pages
· Not brand-only or aesthetic writing
· Not set-and-forget listing optimisation
· Not isolated from performance data
· Experience in supplements / wellness / FMCG
· Understanding of Amazon SEO & ranking factors
· Ability to analyse ad + listing performance
· Experience working with UGC creators
