Strong proficiency in Python (FastAPI, Django, or Flask).

Strong proficiency in React with TypeScript

Solid experience with PostgreSQL (schema design, optimization, migrations).

Familiarity with Celery or similar task queue systems.

Experience with Git workflows and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI preferred).

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Experience in healthcare, biotech, or life sciences domain

Familiarity with bioinformatics tools or pipelines

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to lead the technical development of our internal healthcare and bioinformatics platform.

You will be the technical anchor of a small, agile team, responsible for architecture decisions, complex implementations, and mentoring junior developers. This is a high-impact role where you'll shape the foundation of a platform designed for enterprise compliance and scale.

What You'll Do

Lead the technical architecture and implementation of a full-stack healthcare/biotech platform
Design and build secure, scalable backend services using Python/FastAPI
Develop responsive, data-rich frontend interfaces using React/TypeScript
Architect database schemas and optimize queries in PostgreSQL
Implement authentication systems (LDAP, Azure AD, internal auth) with RBAC
Build real-time features using WebSockets/SSE
Integrate with bioinformatics pipelines and orchestrate background processing
Establish coding standards, conduct code reviews, and mentor junior developers
Ensure compliance with healthcare data regulations (HIPAA, ISO 27001)
Collaborate with product and design teams to translate requirements into technical solutions

What You'll Bring

Must Have:

5+ years of professional software development experience
Strong proficiency in Python (FastAPI, Django, or Flask)

Experience with Redis (caching, queuing, pub/sub)
Familiarity with Celery or similar task queue systems

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and mentoring abilities
